A classic example of postwar Italian modernism, this side table is attributed to Angelo Ostuni and dates to the 1950s. The hallmarks are all there: an angular A-frame base in black lacquered metal, a clear glass top secured by four round brass caps, and a cradle-shaped brass wire magazine rack below.
The warm contrast between matte black metal and aged brass is quintessentially Ostuni — refined, graphic, and effortlessly functional. Works beautifully as a sofa side table, bedside table, or reading corner companion.
