Artifort F976 Swivel Lounge Chair by Geoffrey Harcourt - Late 1960s - 1970s
Artifort F976 Swivel Lounge Chair by Geoffrey Harcourt - Late 1960s - 1970s
A striking F976 lounge chair designed by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, introduced in 1968. This is an original vintage example — not the current reissue — with the "Artifort" logo embossed directly into the underside of the fiberglass shell.
The chair pairs a sculptural white fiberglass shell and swivel tulip base with deeply buttoned black leather upholstery. The low, wide seat and swivel action make it as comfortable as it is architectural — a design that reads as spacious in any interior.
Condition: The original black leather is in mint condition — supple, unmarked, and rarely found this clean on examples of this age. Minor traces of use to the back of the shell, consistent with age and honest use. Base is solid and turns smoothly. Fully original.
